I started working with Across many years ago. Back then, Across was still free of charge for translators and, in my opinion, the software is good to work with, despite what my fellow translators had and some still have to say about it. So I stuck with Across. The software meets my requirements and has exactly those functions that I need for my work. Over the years I have adjusted my working processes to Across. One of my main arguments in favour of Across is that all data is organised in one central database. This gives me access to all translation units and terminology entries at any time and I do not have to think about an appropriate folder and file naming system so that I can always find the data that I need for the upcoming project.
