I have started working as an official trainer for Across in 2015 and am offering some of the official webinars by Across, at first for the Across Personal Edition v6.0 and then the Across Translator Edition (ATE) v6.3 starting in 2016.

I am offering group trainings to groups who wish to learn Across. Such groups may be:

• LSP
• Group of several fellow translators
• Translator Association
• Translation Education Institutions
• Other groups

I can deliver such group trainings as single webinar with a maximum length of 1.5 hours, a series of webinars with a client-defined number of webinars and a maximum length of 1.5 hours per webinar, or as one-day or two-days classroom seminars. The content of group trainings also depends on the specific needs. I am charging my fee for webinars on a per-webinar-basis, or in the event of classroom seminars, either on the basis of a daily fee plus travel, board and lodging expenses if facilities and catering is provided by the client or on a per-attendee-basis if I also have to take care of facilities and catering.

Individual Training

I am offering individual Across trainings for fellow translators who are interested in learning Across. I am able to respond to the exact needs of the learner in every individual training. The length of each session is variable and depends o the individual needs and the time available to the learner. The training platform will either be TeamViewer or Skype. It is also possible to do trainings at the learner's home or office, however these will probably only make sense on rare occasions, because there will be other costs in addition to the training fee. I am charging my fee by the hour.

Individual Help

We don't have to arrange a full training for each an every question you might have. Some questions are just as easily answered by e-mail or over the phone. And don't worry, unless questions are coming in too frequently, I will not charge a fee for every question. However, I will be very happy if you would show me some kind of appreciation. This can come in many different ways, e. g. mentioning my help in a social media article, mentioning my name to fellow translators, or whatever you you think appropriate.

I am a member of the Translators Advisory Board, one of three advisory boards that the Across Systems GmbH has established to advise the company on the strategic development of the software. The three advisory boards correspond to the target groups of the computer-aided translation (CAT) software Across:

• Advisory Board Industrial Clients
• Advisory Board Language Service Providers (LSP)
• Advisory Board Translators and Providers of Services of the Liberal Professions
